Who am I?
My name is Teresa. I am from Anytown USA. Which is where you will find people who are interested in making changes to create a healthier lifestyle.
I have so many reasons to be grateful for the things in my life. I have a wonderful husband, beautiful children and grandchildren, a wonderful home and career, and the list goes on. I try daily to show gratitude for all that comes to me.
Last year I hit a milestone in my life. I don’t always care to admit it, but last year, I turned 50 years old. I’m trying to be proud of my age, but somedays that’s not so easy. I have developed certain aches and pains. At this point they are all related to something. Like when I get off the floor after playing with the grandkids. Or after sitting for extended times writing a blog post. I do consider myself very lucky to not have any chronic pain issues or otherwise. But even the aches and pains I do have I can’t help but wonder “Would they be less if I changed a few things up in my life?”
This is my big question. How would my body change if I changed things up a bit. Nothing drastic. But if I were to make a few daily changes in my life, how would that affect my overall health and well being. Could I be more flexible if I perhaps started doing some yoga? How would a brisk walk each day make me feel? What if I added a vitamin into my life? What if I ate more vegetables? How would I start? Where would I start?
There is a simple answer to those questions, the answer is it doesn’t matter where, how, or what. What matters is that I start somewhere. It’s hard to become a Vegan in one day. But over time, it’s definitely an obtainable goal. There’s a learning curve involved. Ease into it as to not overwhelm ones self.
My quest for a healthier us.
I would like to take you along on my journey for a healthier us. I say “us” because I’m hoping others will join me in my journey. Let’s get healthy together. My plan is not to jump all in and make huge changes all at once. It doesn’t seem sustainable to make 5 different life changes in day or even a week. But to make them over the course of time, now that seems like something we could do. Obtaining good health with ease.
